The AFL have just announced that Eddie and Collingwood have brought the game into disrepute. They should have congratulated Rocket and allowed him to leave for a senior cioaching position with their blessings and best wishes.
Apparently the Pies have to give up their 2014 draft picks but can sign unlisted players.
On the radio today, "Collingwood demanding compensation for losing Eade to Suns"
Since when are clubs compensated for losing assistants or directors etc?
Normally the unwritten rule is that clubs release coaches with compensation if they are going to be promoted. Why is it not surprising that McGuire wants a different rule for Collingwood? Would we have expected anything different?
It's time to embrace Eddie and work at making him a friend of the Swans.
We can't beat him, the AFL commission admire him and the Victorian community warm to him.
If we keep attacking him, he will pull the club to pieces.
Adam Goodes and John Longmire need to reach out to him and get him onside. A couple of lunches between now and Christmas should help.
If Adam can forgive Eddie and offer friendship then Eddie may soften towards the Swans.
It's time to do a deal with the devil.
And give a bully like Eddie what he wants? No thanks.
Adam Goodes is a man of integrity he doesnt need Eddies friendship nor do the swans.
And not as many people as you think like Eddie in Melbourne. There was a billboard for his MMM show with his photoshoped head right smack bang in the middle of collingwood a few years ago and someone had sprayed wanker in caps. It wasnt fixed for months.
You people are being short sighted. Eddie is winning against the Swans. He has won the Cola, banned recruitment and the academy's are next.
The AFL community, the AFL commission and the media are backing Eddie. The Hawks are good mates with Eddie and no one is raising an eyelid on Frawley or O'Rourke.
It's to bring Eddie into the tent and nullify him. Forgiveness and friendship from Adam will be warmly received from Eddie and he will lay off the Swans to keep building a bridge with Adam.
This is a pragmatic decision in the best interests of the football club.
You people feel better when you bash Eddie, but you are only hurting your Football Club. It's time to get pragmatic, it's time to have a cease fire on Eddie and it's time to make Eddie a friend of our club like the Hawks have done.

Matt, was this a sarcastic post? You're kidding right?
No I'm not. Eddie is killing us and Gillion is not at strong as Andrew D. The Hawks are winning through a friends with Eddie strategy.
The Swans executives have tried to slap Eddie down and it's not working.
Kerry Stokes and James Packer, who have testy history, realised that friendship and trust could benefit both their business interests. They are now hanging out on each other's boats and attacking the market rather than each other.
We can bring Eddie into the tent.
This will save the Academy and help is win premierships.
