Yeah Good old Lindsay Thomas, I think Im right in saying that Gaz's last game against LT was one of his early season poor performances, maybe even on as sub. This game may also have been his first game back against the perp. You rekon gaz could get the job on Lindsay tomorrow? ........could be interesting

Rohan came on as the Sub in that game against North.
And it was his first game against north since the break.

Except for last week, he has been in excellent touch.
I'm expecting a big game from Gaz this week.

No footy of an code played there since our QF and not a lot of rain, so the surface should be as good as it'll ever be.

Just got offered $45 tickets in what appear to be Cat 2 seats though. Loyal fans and members have definitely been shafted by the AFL & Ticketek with pricing and seat allocation.

Jetta to Wells would be an interesting matchup. Again, I'd fancy Jetta to beat him, especially given the amount of footy Wells has missed.

Buddy owes Thompson one after round 4. He'll kick a bag on him.

Smith will sit on the grub Thomas...Hopefully Gaz gets to smash him at some stage.

Maybe Tippo on Tippo... That would be fun to watch. I rate young Tippo, he looks like a player in the making.
it will be interesting. If Joel Tippett doesn't play then Thompson will have to go to Tippett and Grima to Franklin. But the problem for them is they don't really have a 196cm or bigger defender other than Joel Tippett. If they take a risk on Tippett for Hanson, who would have got the Tippett assignment, we could see a lot of brotherly love LOL. I think Tip might just give little brother a clip over the ear. The thing is Joel is only 196 not 199 or 200cm. He has had problems with the big strong forwards in the past, in the SANFL, but is quite sound. whether he is good enough at this stage to take his brother on we will see, if it eventuates.

Gee, North are paying some pretty generous odds for the win. Out to $4.10.

I'm always tempted to put some money on the opposition so I can get some financial compensation for my emotional pain if we lose but I'm just too superstitious.

Arrrgghhh got a bad feeling in my stomach from nerves this morning. 2pm can't come quick enough before our little Swannies troop from Canberra heads up the highway.

Logic says we will win, my heart says we will win, but I have this awful nagging doubt at the moment. Hopefully the boys come out on fire tonight and dispel my fears early on - I don't want a tense one tonight, but a good 4 quarter performance!

                    Come on you mighty Swannies!

You've encapsulated my thoughts perfectly MCS, everything has fallen into place for us this week including the weather, so everything tells me we should win, but there's this nervous knot in my stomach that just wont go away. Maybe its because we as fans are all so used to our boys being the underdog or the long shot, that favouritism doesn't sit easily on our shoulders.

Nerves are to be expected when it's an all or nothing game, no matter how heavily favoured one team is. Let's get to the match day thread and get revved up!!

                          Think positive!!!

Hopefully we get out to a nice early lead and we can sub Mal out and give his hammy more rest so he can break Hawthorn's heart like he did in 2012
