Well you were fortunate because the ones around me were terrible. They have passed Collingwood supporters.

Anyway about the game...that wasn't much fun was it? Hawks were just too good. Their pressure and tackling was what we normally expect of the swans. 7 tackles to 22 at quarter time said it all. They kept smothering and spoiling.

Very disappointing and wasn't expecting that. As mentioned previously a lot of our players were down. Bird as sub was a mistake. We needed his hard body out there. I think we were too worried about their pace.

Their pace was magnificent though. We couldn't give it back on the return.

Mate, WTH? I'm not saying we should emulate those clubs. I'm saying that we should keep the positives of the last 10 years in mind. Onwards and upwards.

Some disgraceful comments there from so called supporters guys & girls (even worse if from members). We had a bad game & the Hawks had our measure, very simple. The boys will be hurting just as much as we are. Bring on 2015 for another crack!

People saying we won't be top 4 next year is laughable!

The hurt and embarrassment the players felt today shouldn't be underestimated as a driving force for 2015 and beyond

It is quite likely we won't make top 4 next year, because this was not an honourable loss but a humiliating one. This one is almost on par with Port loss to Geelong in 2007 and we know where Port ended up the following year. I'm not saying we are as bad as Port that year, but to think our team will just bounce on top of the ladder back next year is laughable.

Well by all that's good and Bowie that was just an appalling.
Not the team I know and love.

I don't think today's game illustrates our average. It was our absolute worst. Every single team is capable of it. You lot are being a little dramatic

I will accept performance like this in any H&A game, but not in a GF and not by a minor premiers.

Actually I'm just glad this isn't bigfooty. A few snide hawks fans still whingeing about COLA on the swans board. They're unbearable. Celebrate your win damn it

We are not going to end up like Port. We have got Buddy and Tippett.

Anyone who can put a spin on THAT , should be working for a politician.
All I can manage is a lame "at least the TLM voting will be easy".
First GF for some of our players ? Well , maybe , but that doesn't really cut it : it was the first for Langford , too, wasn't it ?And Spangher -well done , Matt.
We better not give any other of our fringe players to Hawthorn!

First half reminded me of Fremantle's fumbling in the 2013 GF.
The whole second half seemed like junk time . And in a way , it was , because Hawthorn had already kicked enough to win.

The I50 differential of minus 20 looks bad - and it was - but the problem was more the accuracy of our delivery.
We were minus 10 on CPs , but a bigger issue was how easy it was for Hawthorn to hit targets uncontested.
Do we need to revert to the 'ugly' 2005 playing style ?
Or are we better than that ?

Tippett's stats don't look too bad , but I felt he was a bit slow and well below par today, though he was hardly Robinson Crusoe , was he?
Will the knees be a problem for the rest of his career?

I believe only four of our blokes had a decent/good game , with reputations firmly intact.
As for the rest and as for the performance as a whole : over to you , Horse . You've got some work to do.

Agreed . But,right now,so is the bookies' decision to make us favourites , already , for next year.

That was probably a rude awakening for some fans who expected us to romp in with it, but the Hawks really showed how to play a GF today. A bit like we did 2 years ago really. I have full confidence that we'll be sufficiently stung to hit 2015 with a vengeance.

The Hawks were deserved winners today and deserved premiers this year. But I'm equally as proud of our boys' season and we'll be back up there next year.
