Great read, thanks Jono2707. Wouldn't have recognised him in the street without his dreadlocks.

                  Interesting quote from the article:

"He?s one of many former AFL players who have left Australia to find second careers in the corporate world in America."

I wonder if that's based on fact or speculation. It is a US article after all.

Former Swans John Ironmonger & Geoff Craighead went there for work ... John even played footy over there.

Facebook says (probably need to be logged in): "Electrician at Ralec Electrical - July 2010 to present - Adelaide, South Australia".

Haha. "He quickly became one of the Sydney Swans? most popular players with his chiseled physique, long platted hair and fashionable style". Who wrote this? I remember him. He was hopeless.

Seems like RWOers seem to have a pretty good idea about what a number of former Swans players either did or are doing these days

Does anyone have any ideas about what any of these former Sydney players might be up to?

played some pretty good footy in the SANFL with Norwood after Sydney. Was involved with SANFL Junor coaching after retiring from Norwood

Seems like former Swans and the media go well in Adelaide ... apart from Lewie, Ryan Fitzgerald (radio with NOVA), and Troy Gray (TV & radio ... and owns a men's salon!), Michael Parsons (before his untimely passing was a SANFL TV commentator for the ABC)
