Looking at the GWS Riverina production line that they do nothing to produce...

Charlie Spargo from Albury and Jarrod Brander from Broken Hill are both rated as absolute guns for the 2017 draft with Charlie being the NSW/ACT Player of the U16 Championships.

Charlie attends Melbourne Grammar and Jarrod attends Melbourne Grammar.

Can anyone please explain to me how they qualify to play for NSW/ACT in the first place and secondly, how they qualify to be an academy pick for GWS?

It's a complete and utter joke that they are getting these players without putting any development into them at all and it is an absolute kick in the face to the other three academies that are trying to do the right thing and actually develop some players

Something to do with their residential address being in the GWS catchment area for a minimum of 5 (or 7? I'm not sure) years. Something has to be done about it though.

It's a complete joke, these kids are getting the private school football finishing school of royalty and GWS get to benefit. Their entire academy zone is a complete rort and we at the Swans will pay the penalty, watch the numpties at the AFL gift half of Sydney back to GWS....

Ha ha, it's like the 70s when Carlton had the Bendigo Football League, South Australia and Western Australia
