I really hope we pick Mitchell though, just so we can't avoid your ad nauseum repeating of the same theory time and time again

Mcglynn as sub is my call with no other changes - but as Ugg says, they may prefer for Mcglynn to get another full game in the ressies, and then you'd expect Cunningham is likely to be next in line.
So do I, but not necessarily to debunk Matt80 theory (for to be quite frank I switch off at his repetitive rants and tend to ignore them) but because I like Tom Mitchell as he is a gun and hopefully he will show everyone his talent.

For that reason too - but imagine the peace and quiet on RWO if he is chosen - it would be a double win!

The AFL community has been frothing at the mouth about Kurt and Buddy's combined 16 tackles against Port. The amazing thing is that Kurt and Buddy only kicked 4 goals between them, which is a modest goal scoring return.
Which AFL community would that be? I've watched AFL360 every night this week, OTC on Monday and I subscribe to both the Hun and Age and there has barely been any talk about our game and the only mention I can recall about Buddy and Tipps work, was Robbo making a reference to it in passing with (I think) King and McLure.
I used to think your posts were funny and quirky, but now you're just plain tiresome.

Indeed if Zak Jones is looking at a new start we would be well advised to give him a few starts and get him in the shop window so to speak, form permitting.

Goodes is shot, it's just a matter of how his demise is handled. That leaves who we drop. I rate Laidler and I like Towers' honest play but they strike me as being the players who are really playing for their spot every week.

It's a great position to be in
I think most agree that we have a bit if depth and that players like McGlynn, Mitchell, Jones could easily fit into the team. I would add Robinson, Naismith and Aliir to that. I have said this before, but why do we need to have a best 22. Why can't we have a senior squad of 25 or 26 players that are rotated regularly through the team. Example, why can't Jones play this week and Shaw plays back in ressies for a week. Why can't Mitchell play this week and Bird play ressies for a week. It gives those so called 'fringe' players a run, keeps everyone competitive and covers in case of injuries. As long as team balance is maintained. No point rotated Robinson through for a defender. Players may not like it too much, but the club comes first, not the individual. As many have said, no one should have a walk up start in the team. The only why I see it not working is we don't have that quality depth we think we do.

If he can get through, say 5 games uninjured and slowly get back into the top 22 even on a part time bases, then he will be a great asset for end of season games. His leadership and experience will be invaluable.
I'm not sure whether you meant perspective or perception, but whichever it is I agree!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

If McGlynn is not ready then Brandon Jack will come into the subs vest. I don't mind Brandon as sub. He can come on late in the game and apply forward chasing pressure and nail 3-4 big tackles.
You make these statements like you know straight from Horse that he doesn't play those 4 together. Did he tell you this?

How many chances should BJ be given before someone else gets a shot? Someone like Robinson. He was on par with Lloyd when playing in reserves together. He deserves a crack before BJ.

Are u seriously trying to sell an uphill 20 minute walk in the rain as "easy to get to".?

25k will prove once and for all that the location of this ground hurts attendances.

It will be better when the light rail is built, it should markedly improve how people get to the Moore Park precinct from the CBD. This was probably in the forefront of the club's mind when they signed the new agreement with the SCG.

AFL.com referred to Tippett and Franklin as "tackling machines" in an article. It's okay if you find my posts tiresome. My wife says to me "Matt I need five minutes silence".

I must say Jewels that I really enjoy your posts. You write very well.

Work is underway, they have started demolishing a block of apartments on Bourke St to make room for it.

Selection comes out in 30 minutes. Let's see. There has not been more than three slower inside midfield extractors played since round four last year.
