I'm fairly confident. Jack should play well without Crowley on his back and Ballantyne out means their forward line is less potent.
On the balance of changes I think we're slightly stronger than when we faced them in the finals last year.Comment

Josh had a boy. Maybe there will be a third Kennedy F/S, but this time he will be a swan? Kennedy's arrival delays departure - sydneyswans.com.auComment

Am I correct in saying only one of the emergencies travels to Perth? @swansreserves is reporting that towers isn't playing reserves because he is in Perth but I thought hiscox had gone to Perth
I'm worried if towers doesn't play a full game this week after being sub last weekComment

I'm worried if towers doesn't play a full game this week after being sub last week..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Will be an exceptionally tight game I think. They are in immense form- their first quarter in particular against Wet Coke last week was unbelievably good. If we are even a little bit off, we will get rolled."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

A question to somebody who knows more about these things than I do: I notice that Jack Hiscox has been named as an emergency, does this mean that he's already been showing a lot of promise in the reserves? Or is it more along the lines of taking a youngster on a trip interstate, just to experience what's involved?Comment

Everyone keeps talking about Gaz as sub but seriously, I am loving Isaac and GR's fwd pressure, something that was missing last year, I think that is his role - he is going to tear one up in the front half shortly and this week could be it people!!Comment

I'm with you on this...At times I think back to the 2 recent ambushes we've suffered over there...
One being an Anzac day clash some years ago...And think we'll get rolled.
At other times I think, surely we've learnt our recent lessons, and we'll turn up all guns blazing...If so we'll win.
If we can match or better them for intensity, and on the score board, in the first quarter, we'll give it a real shake.Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment

So let me get this straight. If we have a couple of late outs, then Hiscox will come into the team. Not Mitchell. Not Jones. Not Robinson. I have absolutely no idea.Comment
