If your Midfield and forwards are not winning the ball or putting pressure on their opponents the back line can look pretty ordinary no matter who you are, just like in the 2014 Grand Final.
Our back line is very good when we are controlling the ball further up the ground but when we lose control our defence can look small against some of the bigger forwards going around.Comment

He's a stubborn cus isn't he. Not all that much talent, just pigheadedness. Could work.

Yeah, that could go in any direction.
But I do admit that Rocket's latter years were stress ridden and you could feel it, BUT he did get us to a Granny first up, so he has the ability to make it work. Just.....If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

Very harsh to just call out Mal. The team as a whole is playing with little heart and the game plans of Eade don't look up to scratch. They have gone backwards and without Ablett there, look very ordinary indeed."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

I see the answer here. H'mmm, feel sorry for Mal.
'He said senior Sydney recruit Nick Malceski was among his underperformers, admitting he was struggling. "He hasn't really played well at all this year - he's not a lone ranger, but is probably in a rough patch at the moment," he said.'
GWS loss a shock, says Suns AFL coach EadeComment

Sad, things do look grim for Mal.
"Malceski was limping on his return from Canberra yesterday and may be being hampered by the knee injury he has already had drained on several occasions since his arrival from Sydney."

Coach Eade weaving his magic.
Blighty is certainly an enigma.
But the decision to sack McKenna, and replace him with Eade, is perplexing even by his standards.Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment
