There's a reserve segment on the swanscast with Mattner. Also did a pre game interview for this round

There are two tabs on the Swans website for the Reserves: one under 'Football' and one under 'SwansTV'. There are a few 2015 reports under the first. But the last video under the second relates to the Reserves 2014 grand final.
And what is the 'swans cast' (a podcast I assume) and where is it found? ......actually I think I've just found it on the Swans website.
But in any case, why aren't the same forms of reporting used for the Reserves as for the Seniors? I do nearly all my reading from the Swans app - shouldn't need to go searching for info. In my opinion podcasts should be for 'add-on' information (interviews with players etc.) not for basic game and selection information.Comment

After all my whinging above re lack of coverage of Reserves matches by the Swans, in the last 24 hours we've been getting lots of reports and videos of Saturday's Reserves match against Syd Uni. Great!
Anything else you would like me to whinge about? See if I can do it again?Comment

How good was the James Rose 60 metre bomb from the boundary? Kid has a decent leg on him!Twitter @cmdil

Very pleasantly surprised by James' roost. His pre-draft videos seemed to show him miss kicking the ball a lot. I expected that kicking would be his biggest problem but not at all an issue it seems. He also showed some good vision and the ability to deliver a long handball in the game. Also seems to have a good tank. I'm starting to think that he might be the end of the first round curse when he matures a bit and fills out.We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!Comment

NEAFL MVP votes
Sydney Swans v Sydney University
8: Harrison Marsh (Sydney)
5: Ben McGlynn (Sydney)
4: Sam Naismith (Sydney)
4: Abe Davis (Sydney)
3: Toby Nankervis (Sydney)
2: Tom Young (Sydney Uni)
2: Matt Rawlinson (Sydney Uni)
1: Lewis Stevenson (Sydney Uni)
1: George Hewett (Sydney)
Only possible vote breakdown:
5 McGlynn, Marsh
4 Naismith, Davis
3 Marsh, Nankervis
2 Young, Rawlinson
1 Hewett, Stevenson
Remember that the coaches jointly give one 5-4-3-2-1 set of votes and the umpires a separate 5-4-3-2-1 set of votes. Given McGlynn didn't make the best players list in the official result, a list which I'm pretty sure is submitted by each team, we can conclude he received 5 votes from the umpires.Comment

McGlynn must have been reasonably handy to get the 5 umpire votes you'd think...could be a case of our coaching panel having far higher expectations of him than of the other players.Twitter @cmdil

Also in the highlights you tweeted, that Robinson clearance and Hewett side-step/goal was pretty classy football.Twitter @cmdil
