I was cranky at the time of the kick, but on further reflection I think I'm glad he found out first-hand how dangerous a play it can be, and that's much better than finding out in a GF.He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. What worries me is despite a lot of instances of poor kicking in our back 50 since that 'day' last year, we keep doing it. Its not just Rampe, but most of the back 6 have been culpable of stupid kicks in the back 50s this year. I know we are missing Mal, but we need to play the percentages more in our back 50 - when in doubt, go the safe option, and most definitely don't kick across your own goals."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

I do recall Teddy doing a similar things a few wells ago. A high kick across the front of the goals that ended up in an opposition hands for a goal. No one carried on about that kick.
I do love a craft beer too, much better than that mad produced stuff."Fortunately, this is the internet, so knowing nothing is no obstacle to having an opinion!." Beerman 18-07-2017Comment

Shouldn't that be Michael Hurley?

or Brodie Grundy?

We have the lowest 'scores against' at the end of Round 10.
Rampe last week; Shaw a few weeks ago, and another (can't remember) who kicked out direct to opposition.Comment
