Jones has a hard edge and big competitor and i loved this type of players. Unsure as to the rest of skills but if he plays a bit like Jude Bolton our team is already better without a new signing.[emoji122] [emoji122] [emoji122] [emoji122]
Maybe this should be the start of a totally different post, but who else is out of contract? I love that Jones has resigned too. A competitive footballer with loads of talent.
He's a smart kid too - I think I'll sit tight here and wait for my turn in a premiership contender rather than heading home to a perennial cesspool of mediocrity!
Good news though, opportunities will open up for him.
Want to see George Hewett re-signed too, coming along nicely by all accounts, still quite young, just needs an opportunity.
The last 3 Swans who have really excited me early were Dane Rampe, Luke Parker and Zac Jones
Had a chat to Zac at last years' Melb meet & greet and he seemed like a pretty down to earth guy full of hope and enjoying the public event.
Unlike Malceski who was acting pretty grumpy and fed up with everything, or maybe fed up with the Swans in hindsight...
The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.
Same as last year with Smith looking to go back to Melbourne and Geelong was the stalker. Just a question. If they wanted to home or they lokking gor money or more premierships? Three pools. Premiership window Hawthorn, Geelong (maybe with Paddy), North.
Trying for years but not much - bombers, tigers and scum magpies, not players just club, with bulldogs & saints growing but mid term with young lists and the cash teams demons, carlton.
Even with Dangerfield, Geelong are no hope of contending next year. Their depth is as bad as anyone's in the AFL at the moment. Lonergan, Rivers, Enright, Johnson, Mackie, Bartel, Kelly, Taylor, Stokes etc all a year older or retired. Could easily see them in the bottom 4 of the ladder for the next 2-3 years after this one.
