Heeney is 186cm and a good size (and exceptionally strong overhead). I don't think a few extra centimetres makes that much difference - look on a ruler and see just how small a couple of centimetres really is. Kennedy doesn't suffer from "only" being 188cm.
You have to factor in the extra arm length, though. If you're a couple of centimetres taller, then your arms are a couple of centimetres longer, and they're reaching up from shoulders that are a couple of centimetres higher. So it's effectively doubling the difference when you're jumping at a ball, arms extended.

You can make up for it in aerial ability or vertical leap or a number of other ways, but a few centimetres is often what separates a KPP from a third-tall.

Doesn't follow that someone 2cm taller also has longer arms. Obviously there is some kind of correlation between height and limb length but its not perfect. That's why players get tested for all sorts of things, including their reach.

People obsess over height at times, without even thinking of comparing other measures relevant to how "tall" someone plays.

Plus Lloyd Perris is due back soon

After this season's draft we will be very very well stocked if mids

I cannot see us renewing KTs contract at anywhere near what he is on now, if at all, and whilst much of it will soak up Buddy's expensive years we will have a little to spend on a KPD or two via free agency I believe

Jones was this week's guest on SwansCast. Paraphrasing what he said, looks like he's been earmarked to fill Shaw's position when he retires.

Whilst I have had a great admiration for Rhyce Shaw and his contribution to the club I would like to see Jones filling in for him from now. Rhyce should go to the reserves and mentor the younger players and retire at the end of the season.
