Agree, Goodes will stay in to continue his progressive week by week improvement, and Carlton will be the perfect opposition for him to tune up some more. If there are some who are a bit sore and could benefit from a rest, I'm cool with that too, it would be good to give a couple of the young guys a run, ie; Hewitt, Robinson, and as for Jones, just drop Shaw FFS!Comment

They're waiting until Round 11 to sack him.
I think we should give all the firsts a rest this week and play the ressies.
We'll still win.
Comfortably.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

Well Malthouse made some comments this AM which suggest the decisions done, and maybe he has forced their hand.
Carlton = shamblesComment

I doubt that sympathy for Malthouse's predicament would be a factor on Friday, but I hope it is not and minds are on nothing more than winning the game. I want ruthlessness like Geelong at the SCG last year and a handy percentage boost.Comment

It's a fairly good bet he will miss games during the year to manage him, but it's difficult to see him sitting out indigenous round unless injured..Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

I agree, just not sure Malthouse will even be coach Friday.
Teams fresh off an exiting coach are unpredictable. Go for the throat we must.Comment

Goodes to some great contested marks, but the skyrocket from Pyke which led to Maccas 2nd goal was unreal. He had 2 opponents and still managed to mark it easily.
And it is always a difficult one to judge when it has gone over the dark side.Comment
