This would be excellent news.. As Liz has said before, he is a real barometer for the side.. His amazing courage really lifts the side when needed. Please footy gods, make him a 1 club man..

Great news
I can't help but wondering if Kennedy maybe the one leaving us for a grand finale with the ageing Hawks midfield ?"be tough, only when it gets tough"

Yep contracted
I just can't help but feeling the Hawks almost always get what they want and they have plenty of outside midfield players
But their inside midfield is ageing"be tough, only when it gets tough"

I'm as happy as anyone about long term contracts for Hanners & Buddy, but my (albeit minor) concern is long term injuries & form loss. I'm sure it won't be a problem with either of these two, but I could see that if a club locks in lots of long term contracted players & the players sustain injuries or lose form that could be a list management nightmare.Comment

Methinks you might over-estimate the power of the hawks
I cannot see any reason whatsoever why we would consider trading a player who is critical to us and has two years left on his contract to our closest rival. If we did it would so incredibly out of character for the clubComment
