I just don't see it happening. So guys and ladies were are we in reality? I want believable answers not positive paff!Comment

I think (hope) tonight will inspire better performances in the near future. Sydney can't win every week. Eventually they had to lose. I have faith that the players' pride will inspire better performances (once Buddy & Tippett return form a tribunal enforced holiday) after tonight. There will be opportunities for other players. But our run home isn't easy.Comment

The only positive I can think of is that we only have to wait 6 days at a chance to make up for tonight.
The changes for this week will be really interestingTwitter @cmdil

Really would've liked better defence of Buddy at the start of the game (by both teammates & umpires). Sure, Rance & his thug teammates were rattling his cage; but he could've used help to stop it.Comment

Yep Richmond learned from the Grand final, roughed us up and we got sucked in again. In my book the main problem is a lack of leadership when the going gets rough. McVeigh disappeared again as he does consistently when we need a leader to stand up and inspire us.
If Shaw doesn't get dropped then the season is over.Comment

If ever a game was fixed, it was this one...just wanted to get that off my chest...I haven't read the thread as I've just got home.....don't know what else to say about that one...Swans were woeful, Richmond learned from Hawthorn that the Swans can't take physical pressure....North tried it, but didn't succeed, Richmond did...played dirty, won the game...Comment

I swore to never ever attend a game umpired by he who must not be named after the debacle of the 2011 defeat against Freo. I should have remained firm in my resolve. The cat currently hiding as he's fully that I'll be aiming some kicks in his general direction. But Tiges wanted it more, well done to them.Comment

Even during the first half we were not very convincing, richmond seemed more interested in fighting than playing football, and once franklin was booked it seemed the whole team just dropped their collective heads. If thats buddy's attitude when something goes wrong during a match someone has to get a hold of him and set him right, be it coaches or players. Richmond saw that and it played into their hands perfectly.
Shaw and Richards played their worst games in years and the fumbling/slipping over OMG. If players aren't prepared to wear long stops in conditions such as those then they shouldn't be selected.
Hopefully this is another "game after the bye blues" and we bounce back against port next week but another performance like that and careers could be on the lineif your head is made out of chocolate dont stand out in the sunComment

Terrible performance tonight, simply terrible second half.
Shaw must be dropped and Derrickx isn't good enough. Buddy and Tippett both out suspended I'd say too. Goodes needs to retire but he wasn't the worst player out there tonight.
Jones needs to start and I'd be bringing Heeney back straight into the ones. Naismith or Nankervis, maybe both with the suspensions.
Too many players went missing that second half, as someone said I am glad they only have six days off to atone for that. The way I feel tonight we really are no realistic chance at the flag this year now, we may not even finish top four. Very Very disappointed
Next Thursday against Port suddenly looks a critical game but from wComment

Naismith hasn't played for four weeks now there's no way he's playing in six days timeComment
