And when I saw his face, now I am not a believer!

I don't like whacking the club but I must admit I don't trust people or groups forever. For me there are signs that I have not seen since 2002. Effort is never a problem.

I apologise for putting another post about this. Trust not is not the right word, more faith, and my level is slowly sinking.

Poor decisions and disposals is a totally different argument for players and structures for coaches.
I don't think Longmire used the word "them". He certainly referred to "us" a few times.

Quite often I think I'm smarter than the coach of a sporting team whilst watching a game; I can identify defensive changes to make, new offensive avenues to pursue, different players to be selected, different strategies.

Watching the Swans get slaughtered by the Hawks all I could think was "bloody hell, they really should kick better and try harder"- short of somehow putting a loose man in front, behind and to either side of every Hawk I couldn't think of what really could be changed by a coach. I'm sure John and his staff will be pleased to know that this time around I'm going to assume they know better than I how to address things.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Nick Smith put it quite well in this article , something Along the lines of ' better to find out now where we are at than in 6 or 7 weeks time'. I feel a little bit inspired after that. We have time to improve, we know what we need to do, hopefully this can be a sobering wake up call. http://m.theage.com.au/afl/sydney-sw...22-gii48b.html
