How would you word the apology, PerthSwannie? I'm interested to see what you think it would look like.

All round, from Bob, to the dancing by Garlett and Walters post goal, to Nathan Jones tapping the armband, to the one and only Nicky Winmar making an appearance at the toss at the Saints-Port match . . . Outstanding.

It was actually pretty funny watching KJ run up to embrace Jetta, who then started doing his dance, and Kieren had to stop and just stand behind him as he obviously didn't want to interrupt Jettas celebration.

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

This weekend was a remarkable show of positivity and the outpouring of support from far and wide was wonderful to see.

However there are still many out there who have fallen for the sustained character assassination that has beset Adam over the last couple of years. These people cannot/will not accept that what they've swallowed over this time and regurgitated recently in hateful bile is plain wrong. These people will not disappear and they'll continue to espouse their hateful views regardless of shows of support throughout all levels of players, coaches, clubs and others in general Australian society.

This weekend was heartening to see but this will be going on for a lot longer yet.

                    I cried.
The 37 t-shirts were FANTASTIC. Thanks KTigers. What a bloody impact.
The standing ovation in the seventh minute of the third quarter was also a stroke of genius.

                    I love this club.
                    LOVE LOVE LOVE this club.

Thanks everyone. You made it a game to remember always.

Perthswannie... you really don't get it do you?

                      Are you Matt80 undercover?

Please, you are boring the living @@@@ out of me. If you STILL insist on ranting and raving about how Goodesy should apologise to the 13 year old old, I'm going to come and slap you silly.
Seriously, you're asking the victim to apologise.
Think about that for a while.

If you want to insist on continuing to "boo" Goodesy here (this is what you are effectively doing), I'm going to ask the moderators to ban you.

This is NOT THE TIME OR THE PLACE for you to be booing Goodesy.
                      Pull your head in.

I saw this on Sat night on instagram and...
Now Jetta is a Flog according to the 13yo's that keep commenting on this issue.
I've pulled a few of them up, but it is just so disappointing to see these comments over and over again.
I've started a new hashtag for them #yourparentsmustbesoproudofyou.

Instead of throwing eggs, which is very childish and as has been said is likely to start a riot, there needs to be a more mature way of dealing with it.
Cheering loudly every time Goodes got the ball at the north game was great, but it is not very successful when it is in a one sided venue like Perth, or in Geelong.

Not sure what the answer is but a walk off by both teams would be a good start.

                          KTigers,

Well done on your amazing work and generosity. The 37 t-shirts made a powerful and very visible statement at the game, on TV and in the press.

And well done too to the other RWOers who handed them out at the game.

Arriving early at the game to catch up with some Adelaide mates who came to Sydney for the day, I was lucky enough to receive and wear one of your 37 t-shirts. Pleasingly, those Crows supporters also stood with me in the 3rd quarter to applaud Goodsey.

I have no doubt the passion they (and everyone watching on TV) saw in the Swans supporters on the weekend will help shift public opinion and behavior for the better. You should feel proud that your actions and generosity were an important part of this change.

                          Thank you.

                              Dear Annie

Much as I appreciate your message to Perthswannie, your first line is the most important one. I have learned over the past week that those who don't get, just won't or can't.

This week so many have debated/argued/presented facts etc. but have been left frustrated. I have also learned that many people prefer to mindlessly attach themselves to someone else's view, ( e.g. Shane Warne - a proven drug cheat, wife cheat, Alan Jones - proven liar, public toilet loiterer, hypocrite, Dermott Brereton - one of the biggest thugs in AFL, Sam Newman - tom cat morals etc. ) My theory is that its easier to latch on to their short, sharp attention getting lines than to read the considered and researched, but longer and more complex articles written by intelligent, responsible commentators.

I think most of us have pulled our head in a bit, will think twice before booing in future, (even if its what has always been considered "acceptable"), and maybe even consider the sources of our information more carefully.

As much as I agree with your sentiment of banning Perthswannie, he (or she) may learn by osmosis just reading RWOers comments if allowed to stay on.

I also agree with your comments on Sat. night's game. So emotional. It truly was a night to remember.

                              Much love,
