Swans to win by a hefty margin.
Love your optimism wish I shared it.

Who needs Buddy when we can trot out a Titanic forward line with Jack and Rose.

              Correction: The Olympic was sunk.

No.. Buddy, McGlynn, Rohan, Parker, Mitchell... And Towers named in the staring 21....Please no.

I can't think of a worse selection against a desperate, in your face, team.

Only positive for us is no Devon Smith for them....He's a fabulous player.

Not sure who's going to help Kennedy inside....

This will take a huge performance.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MT

Remarkable that we are down so many players that play the same role! Parker, Mitchell, Bird, Robinson and Hewett. I wonder if they might have considered Foote if he were eligible. And I wonder who they'll send inside with Joey? Surely Kizza, Hanners and maybe even Macca will have to do some more ball getting with cameos by sundry others. Shaw? Ramps? Heeney?

So Buddy is now a 'torn back muscle' rather than a strain.
I'm looking forward to the game: a real opportunity for some to get game time, step up and to take responsibility for the game.
If the selections are like-for-like, then it's Jones for Parker, Towers for Mitchell, and Rose for Rohan. In other words, there is a tipping of team balance going into the game, away from inside grunt to outside run. We'll see more rotations through the midfield?McVeigh, Jones, Heeney, maybe Shaw, maybe Rampe.
Expect a huge game from Tippoff, too.

Roos siad you can't have too many mids. Looks true as we have run out of them. Emergencies a ruck and two defenders. Who else is on the list available

Hiscox In very poor form going by his stats in the last few games
Davis Probably next cab off the rank
Nankervis Another ruck and slow against a very fast team
                      Allir A green defender

Thats all she wrote folks There is nobody else left on the list except rookies who would need to be elevated

Look on the bright side, every game we give to the young ones is a game closer to them being regular senior contributors. I'll enjoy watching Jones and Rose strut their stuff although i'm still not a Towers fan.

Congratulations James Rose - number 1 with a bullet! Looking forward to seeing you shine.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Foote comes back from injury this week and we could have upgaded him or Newman due to long term injury list.

I think Heeney, Rampe or one or the other could do well in the mids. Rose is an outside player who gets plenty of space a little like LLoyd but plays tall and can take a Howe like mark. Jones to the HB & Rampe & Heeney to help in the mids.

They are a very different team without Davis and the Mummy so I think we'll still get the 4 points here.
