this will be the first final I've missed at Homebush. I never go to the H & A games there, basically because I usually go to the footy alone, and I don't feel safe going to Homebush..I can usually rustle up some mates for finals...

I really didn't want to go this time, and nobody else really wanted to either...I don't like the view or atmosphere at Homebush, it's stale and dry and boring, and it's further from home.... and finals are expensive.... the SCG is just a fabulous night out, close to home, goodish transport, and I would have paid the money to go there....

I hope it's a good game...and will watch from the comfort of home

I'm at Breakfast Point, a few rivercat stops from ANZ. Been sunny most of the morning and very very windy so roads etc. have dried right out. Forecast was for clearing showers, so even though there are still clouds around we may be lucky.
I expect the ground to be in great shape (by ANZ standards) as they've had a week to prepare with the stands pulled back in oval configuration.

Relax guys I drove through Olympic Park two hours ago and conditions are near perfect for footy.

Swans are good to go and I expect a win by at least 5 goals!
