I hope the crowd treats him well over there. There has always been a lot of warmth for Lewis at the SCG, right back from the string of 19 consecutive behinds and that beautiful moment when he kicked the breakthrough goal (some of the behinds and the goal here). There was a lot of brilliant play to put himself in those goal-scoring positions.
I too have a lot of affection for Jets. You're right, he's got a super endearing personality and always seemed like a lovely young man. I remember when he first came to the club the Swans facebook page would post pictures of him in all the strange clothes he'd purchased from Bunbury and pay him out. Oh and his short lived Jets' Journal where he would document his pranks and the wait to get his first goal!

He's a father trying to best look after his young family, and while I'll have to hold back my distaste at seeing him in the blue and gold, I certainly wish him the best.

For serious? Do you go to live games? Do you not hear the roar of expectation when he gets the ball? (Yes, I know... it could go either way!! )
Jetts is going to be a very hard player to replace.
The club will miss him; I will miss him more.
What a great kid he is. I remember one of his first interviews where he said he always dreamed of playing at subi.
From missing out in the draft two years in a row, to coming over here (which is a pretty big deal when you are from country WA), kicking 19 behinds in a row, meeting Jess, having two kids, winning a premiership... a long road to travel for a kid who always dreams of playing footy at subi.
Good on you Jetts. I'm glad your wish came true.
You were great for this club.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I find it amusing that there is this question whether the Jetta/Sinclair deal was good or fair. I think it was fantastic. Jetta was going (mental gone, the Club had him already in the West) so what ever we got was going to be good. In fact we got someone that was going to fill a need, wanted to come here and the Club wanted .. now that is great. I hope and expect both players to, by the end of next season to be making more of a contribution to their team then they did this year.

It appears the negotiation were fairly quick and done without creating bad blood between the teams. A small plus.

I am quite happy about the trade and have a high opinion on Sinclair. I think we have done very well on the deal and it would be great if Tippett can spend more time up forward. I know Jetts had enormous ability and at his best he was a pleasure to watch, but for some reason, this side of him was rarely seen.

Sinclair's marking ability will really give us another dimension around the ground that we haven't had with Mike in the last season or two. He is also a tremendous athlete who kept up with and beat quite a few weagles midfielders in the time-trials last pre-season.

If his tap work can develop enough to allow him to play 70-80% ruck and leave Tip at full-forward, we will be a much more dangerous team.

Happy to see the back of anyone who wants 'to move home'.

                  Just pathetic.

He has a young family; he's not some 18 year old missing his mummy. The only thing pathetic is the fact that you can't understand why people would put family first.

Tip at full forward would be great. Guess the only Thing left is make sure with get the other Callum (Mills) and Dunkley. Though I see we have had talks with Collingwood's Paul Seedsman

                        Seriously?
Millions of people around the world want "to move home".
All of them just can't be pathetic.

It's not like he's Rocca and he's missing his mother... he's a premiership player who has more than served his apprenticeship with this club.

                        Lucky Jetts.
He's getting everything he always wanted.

I believe both clubs had a win win

The variable will be how each club replaces this loss ,against the performance of those who fill the respective gaps

Best wishes to both boys for successful careers

Did you have the same opinion of Nick Davis when he left the Pies to move back to Sydney?

He wanted to go and only 1 club was in play, we did very well considering.
Whilst i love Jetta and he is a good talent, he is in and out of games, not really even sure of his role this year, early on he ran out of defense, other times he sat on the wing/forward uninvolved.
Much loved but to finish 13 in a B&F, playing every game and a veteran means something is missing.
We don't need a FT Ruck, Tippett plays best rotating thru the middle, Sinclair is the perfect partner for him, mobile, big marking etc etc.
Dont look at his GF performance cos A) Jetts finals have been nothing short of disgraceful B) Natinui and half WC stunk up that GF and only Sinclair's performance seems to get mentioned, Kennedy was goalless for Christ sake

We need to remove some of these list-clogger ruckman we have now.
Surely Derrickx's time is up. Nainsmith and Nankervis can fill in if Tippet or Sinclair are injured.
We'll need to make a call on the two N's sometime soon.
