As for McLaren I just never saw him show enough spirit - I found him quite disappointing the 2 games I got a look at him live. But that is a small sample and who knows what might have been going on for him.
    Lloyd can still make it.

If I were advising him it would be to start a course as a back-up plan and work his butt off to get fit and start back at the Saints playing first grade and then some regular NEAFL by the end of next year as a top up

Wasn't Lloyd doing the same journalism course at UNSW as Brandon Jack?

        Swampy has all the potential

He just has to find that part of his game that imposes himself as a top 22 player

Wasn't Lloyd an Academy player (or was it Scholarship like Craig Bird)?

I can (almost) hear from the mouths of some QUOTE " They wanted all the advantages of the Academy to stop the go home factor then they trade a NSW boy and delist an Academy player" UNQUOTE.

Lloyd was an academy player, surprisingly didn't get bided on in the draft.

Perris (sorry, have to call him that because I was scratching my head for a bit about Jake Lloyd and the academy) was a scholarship player, the last one the Swans had. That meant he wasn't subject to bidding but could be put straight onto the Swans' list. They only offered him a rookie list spot and there was a suggestion he might nominate for the draft instead (which he was entitled to do unless the Swans put him onto the senior list) but eventually decided not to.

It's very sad to see him delisted. Three knee reconstructions in less than two years is very sad for a young lad who can clearly play. At least Johnson had the chance to prove to himself (and everyone else) that he was capable at senior level. Perris hasn't gotten that chance.

I really hope the Swans stick by him and at least help him out with his latest rehabilitation so that he has every chance of pursing an AFL career in a year or two, if the next operation works.

I really hope Lloyd gets another chance at AFL football. Incredibly talented and hard working, and a better player than others in the squad, but has just been unlucky with injury since he did his first knee playing basketball.

He is still only 20 so hopefully no more injuries will allow him to get back in to the AFL somewhere at sometime in the future.

I would imagine that the Swans have told him to get his injuries sorted, play some good footy at state level (either here or interstate) and then hopefully come back in the same way Rampe did.

I'm still not convinced by Marsh no matter how we he has payed at NEAFL levehink he is a bit sus if the forward is highy skilled. OIf Harry can move him off the ball and ead him under then he is good and can also run off. But if the forward is wiley or has good evasion skills Harry is a bit ost. Saw him try to combat one of the GWS faster, more cever boys last season and was totaly out of his depth. He is pretty good on a straight run but if the payer moves sideways and around he seems lost.

A bit of maintenance required on that keyboard.
