I don't think I voted at all last season, so will make up for it and will try and vote on all games this season.

May I suggest that we have a running tally every week, like the AFLCA best player award. This should keep the interest up in the voting.
Yes, that's a good idea, as I would like to check if you really are voting for Tom Derickx every week.

Actually, I thought that if Jackson Pollack was still alive, then he would be creating something just like that.

I think that's a great idea. I agree that for the result to be relevant and of interest the result needs to be known immediately after the Swans' season is over.

How about this. What if there was a top five leaderboard published each week, but the order of the top five is not shown. What you will see are changes in who is in the top five, as players move in and out throughout the season depending on votes.

I'd find that really interested. Thoughts?

I think this is a great idea. I'd be happy with Dan's idea, too.

Do you still need numbers to run the vote? I'm in, too.

You've been one of our top voters each year. Greatly appreciated!!

23 of required 25 committed so far. The continuation of the TLM is looking promising!

I'll add another point. Direct engagement with players is an area a number of people are keen to see incorporated into the new RWO from next year, as am I. This is another selling point for participating in the TLM vote. It's a great way to engage with the Club directly when the final vote is in our presentation is made. One such presentation was made in 2007, just check out this thread here: Troy Luff Medal (TLM) presentation photos 2007 - Page 2 Matt79, any way you can resurrect one or two of the photos?

Yes happy to be involved with the TLM...many happy memories presenting Goodsey with the book at Nth Sydney Oval. Will try to find the photos saved somewhere...obviously the photo links must have expired at some point!

These are the only two I have on my current computer...presenting the award. I would love to find one of the actual book too!

Yes, that's a good idea. A detailed vote count being displayed every week, may have a small element of self fulfilling prophecy.

I agree. Publish the top whatever by guernsey number and maybe include the spread of votes too, like Liz did in the countdown. "11 players got votes this week".
And may the leaderboard doesn't get updated until at least 25 votes are received??
If we can get 60 odd RWOer's in the tipping comp. surely we can get twenty five votes each round.

Also, have a footer on the 'time to vote' post each week which explains what the TLM is, whom it is named after, and how to vote. Try to encourage brand new voters. I was reading RWO for a couple of years before I understood what the mysterious 'TLM' was.
