Don't forget to lodge your round 3 votes. We have 16 voters so far and hopefully plenty more to come.

We're up to 35 votes so far for round 3. That's a good start, but would still be great to get some more after a terrific win. The gap between the players currently in 2nd and 4th places is barely a single BOG, and there are still as many as 7 players in the running to earn a top 5 spot. So if you've not yet voted, your votes really could make a difference.Comment

I like to do my best to vote here every round but have been guilty of going missing. I would like to see the results at the end of every round. I know there may be some bias introduced by doing this. I just forget about the game when the results come up in 6 months time or whatever. I need some instant gratification.Comment

What we agreed earlier in this thread is that we'd publish the top 5 players on the leader board on a rolling basis, but in no particular order. That way voters get a little feedback on how things are going but not enough to influence voting unduly. We've done this in the sticky at the top of the forum for the first couple of rounds. I reckon we'll stick with this for a few more weeks, but if, as the season progresses, a majority of voters want more or less, we can always change things around.
Further discussion about this is very welcome in this thread.Comment

I can put the presentation book together if you like.
I have the template that Scott used to use.
I'll just cut and paste the count from here into the presentation (it's not rocket science).
Let me know if you want the help.
Cheers

BTW, it is a lot harder to pick a top three when we are winning. It is such a lovely complaint to have."Fortunately, this is the internet, so knowing nothing is no obstacle to having an opinion!." Beerman 18-07-2017Comment

I'd prefer the top 5 were just listed in alphabetical order so I don't beat myself up analysing whether the change in order from last week to this week means anything.

I wouldn't mind seeing the top 5 listed in order of most points to least. I don't think who's on the list or what order they are in has any affect on my votes. It's not like Sportbet is running a market on who's going to win the RWO Troy Luff medal. The ALFCA leaderboard with cumulative points increases my interest in the race.Comment

Doing the list but not revealing the true order is not just about ensuring integrity, it maintains a bit of surprise. If one player streaks ahead, a few rounds out people might just stop voting. I like not knowing exactly what the count truly is but having at least a view on what it night be.
Agree on making it alphabetical. If there is an alternative strong view to list the true order each round, let's hear it and we can look at it. Either way, we're averaging nearly 40 a round and climbing (if three rounds count as an average!), which is double last year. A great start.Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sectorComment

I have no interest in knowing the leader board. I vote based on each game and who's leading the count has no influence on my vote because I have no idea who is. If popular opinion is that they would like a leader board, and if that will help us increase voting numbers, then fine, but I'd hope everyone continues to vote on what they see on game day rather than in the hope of trying to influence the leader board.Today's a draft of your epitaphComment

Folks, only 36 hours left to vote on the best of our Club for Round 3 vs GWS. We have 42 in the vote for this week so far....let's push for 50! Defenders have polled strongly this week.
