Sounds like a load of hot air to me.... although 10% of 12 is about 1, so its not entirely unrealistic I suppose

Fans are so fickle these days. I hear the sudden surge in Swans' memberships came from converted Collingwood fans after their round 1 thumping.

Lucky we're not playing the Giants at ANZ where the chances of losing to them would be greater.

Given western sydney has its own team and GWS play out of ACT aswell some fan would switch over

I think you are being a bit flexible with the facts there barry.....

I reckon at least 10% of GWS "members" are Swans fans (not ex Swans fans). They buy a three game membership to get a guaranteed ticket for the derby at Spotless and cherrypick a couple of other games to go and join the happy clappers.

I do not believe we have lost any genuine fans to GWS. We may have lost a few bandwagon jumpers and we don't need them anyway. 37,000 plus with 1,000 on orange was a good crowd result tonight

I've toyed with the idea myself (but so far resisted the temptation)
