I'm glad someone mentioned this - seems very hypocritical of a few not to bring this up after the events of 2015.....

It was absolutely deplorable the booing that occurred last year.
It may seemed hypocritical but I didn't mind the booing of Jets yesterday. There is a history of having a go at a player who has left your team. From my position on the couch, apart from the shot on goal, it seemed as if the crowd half heartedly thought we are supposed to boo this guy that left us but didn't really have it in them to do it properly.
Hopefully it will fade away a little more each time we play the Weagles, if not, then we have a problem.

I expect there will be none of it the next time we play the Eagles in Sydney (probably around 2021 by the way the draw seems to be done haha!) - I really think it was just one of those one off things, that most players that switch clubs get from a minority of fans.

Let's wait and see the reaction Dangerfield gets from the Crows fans when they play against Geelong in Adelaide in a couple of weeks.

From the raging comments being made by the morons who were abusing Tippett near me, they are waiting with metaphorical baseball bats for Dangerfield as well. Nasty lot some of those Crows supporters.

Yep in amongst the latte sippers that follow the crows, there are some nasty tossers as well. No doubt Dangerfield will get a significant round of abuse from the Crows faithful, but many of them appear to have a complex about the superiority of Adelaide to anywhere else in the world that clouds their judgement

Well, even the Port fans booed Danger on the weekend, so I think that says it all (and a lot about SA fans in general!). You are right, he'll be crucified when the Cats next play in Adelaide!!

Lewis Jetta gave us such fantastic service that I find it quite incredible that any mindless moron could boo him for any reason. He was great support for Goodesy last year and I thought had a pretty good season. He left for personal reasons after a great effort at our club. You could almost put down the 2012 premiership to him. That great, gutsy turnover that resulted in Hanners goaling put us back in the game and changed the momentum. And his was the kick, from a mark playing front, with cramp, to the top of the square that resulted in a ball up and snap by Mal. And that from a bloke who I shall remind, was seen by some RWOers, as having no hardness. He was a great roll player at our club who broke the lines with precision kicking. I hope he goes on to have a stellar career with WCE.

                    Couldn't agree more.

Apart from giving him a razz when kicking for goal I can't believe that anyone would genuinely boo him or think it was funny doing so as the twats near me clearly did. A minority and ignorant day trippers on the whole.

I wish him all the best and I can't think of why any true fan wouldn't feel the same way

I normally wouldn't boo a former player, but if Jolly came out of retirement I would.

He cost us a premiership and left us for Collingwood with little compensation.

Also always thought he was a whiner and gave away stupid free kicks.

Great 2005. And premierships are hard to come by.

God I love Ted. Have I ever told you that before?

Why wouldn't you boo Jetts? He doesn't play for us anymore... perfectly valid reason for booing at the game.
So glad he kicked a behind... good to see some things never change.

Goodness gracious. Are you wringing your hanky out? Long bow you're drawing there. Are your arms sore?

It was no more than booing an ex-player - lining up for goal. It WASN'T racial.
