I reckon it will either be Heeney or McGlynn in for Rose.

Foote and B Jack also been impressing in the 2's from what I read. Both should be in the conversation if Rose needs to regain a bit of confidence in the twos.

I'd prefer Heeney to Rose, but I'm generally okay with whoever they decide to go with for Rose's spot, including leaving him in for this week. He was down this week, but otherwise has been good.

I still think Nanka is a better choice than Sinclair, although after hearing the story about the not issuing a penalty for the unauthorised Travis Cloke glove, I would stick with Sinclair if the he wears these gloves, and we can deal with the AFL next week:

Hehe! Yes I've been wondering whether a glove might assist solve Sinclair's marking problems. Wonder if he has ever tried wearing one, at least in training. Adam Goodes used to wear one on occasion, also Mike Pyke used one for a short time.

I've just been through this thread. In terms of atmosphere, I think that the SCG fans generally get the balance about right, at least where I sit in Bay 29. We have a player or two from the opposition that might cop a bit, particularly if he has done something dodgy on the night, or given it to us during the week (Sam Mitchell should be in for it this week), and we definitely express displeasure at bad umpiring calls, but we don't rip into the umpires on their way off the ground either. I don't go for the contrived stuff (eg Sweet Caroline) but when the "Syyyyyyyyyyyyydneeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyy" chant starts at the right time (when we're behind but are rallying and the crowd starts it, not the PA) and everyone's into it, it's fantastic.

So have we heard if Stevic Is going to "umpire" this game yet??
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

On that, I noticed last week I think that some Geelong players seemed a bit oiled up.
Harder to grip in a tackle.
Not sure if the Swans grease themselves up?
You've never noticed Buddy's shiny arms before a game??

Liam Shiels is out of this game with a hamstring strain.

Yes and if he needs to call for the stretcher, he has the excuse of cramping up, due to the extra burden of carrying around those gloves.

Seems Stevic hasn't done a Hawks game all season. It probably means they're saving him for this one.

I guess when you and I are looking at the players, we're looking at different things

Next game I shall endeavor to play close attention to the ripply fineness of Buddy's amazing biceps and taught quads

Dawks must be worried about getting the 4peat and therefore saving up Stevic for the big games at the right end of the season - would not surprise me to see him and chamberlain rolled out for tomorrow night.
