Guilty as charged, RogueSwan. Shouldn't make light of the matter, I guess. Talia broke two golden rules. The team rule of no 'indulging' while injured and the club rule which states: Be good. (And if you can't be good then be discreet.)
You'd think due diligence would cover a prospective player's social media accounts but that's twice now the Swan's have been caught out. Get with it, Bloods! Perhaps they thought, given the circumstances of his arrival, that Michael would keep his nose clean... so to speak.

I'm pretty sure the alleged 'no dickhead' policy did exist around the Ricky Barham recruiting era and may well still exist today, however it was 100% around drafting 18yo's, not recruiting players from other clubs.

It was just based around the interviews they would have with potential draftees and if the young man was not of reasonable character, in other words a probable dickhead, they would put the pen through him as it was hard enough to draft good footballers without drafting some bloke who was going to be a handful, particular given Sydney's position where they had to draft kids away from family and hold there hand for a period of time.

The difference between a person who is a dickhead and one that's not:

There are 2 young football players. The one who is not a dickhead is a guy from a Melbourne club who wants to go partying and do some coke away from people who may recognise him, so stays with a mate from Sydney, gets that mate to buy and carry the drugs.

A dickhead is the other guy.
