Furthmore if swans can't beat GWS at ANZ they will not beat either Hawks or Geelong at MCG

If we lose the the Giants then we probably meet Adelaide the following week at the SCG. So we only have to win one of these home games to make prelim. I think it's a good chance that the Swans will play the Giants in GF.

Is it just me that doesn't highly rate the cats? Yes they finished 2nd on the ladder but im just not convinced, especially if you can take danger out of the game for a reasonable part of it as we did down at @@@@dinia park.

I may (more than likely be wrong) but i feel they might not be able to take the extra step needed come the finals.

            Yep pretenders.
Anyone in the top 4 could win it this year except for them. I rate Adelaide over Geelong easily

I feel the same but to be honest, they've beaten every other team in the 8 except for us (they're 1-1 against GWS), and have won all those games quite convincingly too.

Yeah, the Cats don't seem a threat this year, definitely next when the new guys have had a session together. This series I see the Crows and Poos and Wees as the big threats. The Dogs would be a threat too with a couple more uninjured (remarkable how well they finished with their injuries, definitely shows up the Roos blaming injuries)

I don't understand it either. Geelong won 8 out of 10 games against top 8, Swans won only 6 out of 10. I definitely see them playing in GF.

There is one straight kick between 1st and 7th. Anyone can win it. Even north are getting a few back and can cause an upset.

It will come down to injuries and luck.

I can't see Geelong winning in Sydney (assuming Hawks win today) in a prelim final, so they would have to win in week 1 against the Hawks to get there in my book. Its strange - I just don't rate them. Maybe I haven't seen enough of their games this year, but they just haven't caught the eye at all with me.

North will get beat easily in Week 1 of the finals for mine - ain't going to beat West Coast, Adelaide or the Hawks in my book. I agree there are 7 teams that could win it, but I don't agree North can, I have them a long way behind the top 7.

I'm hoping Gibson will be reviewed by the MRP for a closed fist punch to the jaw of a pies player - channel 7 replayed the incident about 6 times - fingers crossed!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Surely the Pies player will get a week suspension for getting in the road of the punch No hope he will get suspended though, its the Dawks after all.
