The Wiki page doesn't seem to be as up to date as Big Footy. Here is their latest list (which is less organised):

Some curiosities: who knew that there only 4 players at the club signed up for longer than Harry C and they are Buddy, Hanners, Parker and Rohan?! For that matter who knew Rohan was signed up for so long too. And there I was, momentarily, thinking Harry might be feeling the heat with the latest batch of recruits. It turns out, he might not play seniors but his job is secure for the next three years.

This year Heeney, Joey, Reid and Jones will be our priorities and in roughly that order I suspect. Joey is our best player and Heeney is the future. Not everyone loves Reid and he seems to be hung with an "always injured" label that I don't think he deserves but we definitely need him. KPFs are not a long suit of ours. Buddy and Sammy are pretty much our only KPFs (not counting Pinky). Dawson, Rohan, Hayward, Towers et. al. are third talls at best or just mediums. And Jones is a beast that we would hate to lose. Incidentally, I really hope we start chucking him the guts a bit this year, which may have the added benefit of making a bit of room down back for Newman or Leonardis to start rebounding the ball.

I suppose this also means that whatever departures we have at the end of next season will all come from the first 18 players (trades excepted). I don't expect any of the rest to retire unless forced to do so by injury or other misadventure. I reckon the writing is on the wall for Macca. BJ will have to lift his game or, more likely, be out the door. Talia, Melican and AJ will need to show something. And you would think at least one of the new rookies won't get extended and quite possibly more than one. I think O'Riordan and Melican are our best rookie prospects and I'm almost willing to add Ronke to that list without having seen him.

It's as up to date as the player numbers are.
Until the new players get numbers there is little point updating it.

BTW. ANYONE can update the WIKI to keep it up to date.

I find it really useful having the BigFooty list to refer to. It helped me to make the observations I made above. However, I wouldn't update the Wiki page because I haven't verified the information for myself. It might be different if the information came from the club website since they are a bit closer to the source than the mod on BF (and so, hopefully, they would be more reliable). However quite happy to use BF info for the purposes of commenting on RWO.

Apologies, Scott, if you are the author of the Wiki info - I did mean to cast any nasturtiums. I just wanted to highlight the relevant, apparently up to date info I stumbled across on a rare visit to BF - not criticise the Wiki. Incidentally I was saying the BF info was "less organised", not Wiki's, in case this wasn't clear.

The top 4 referred to by Bloodsport are essential to our future efforts to contend again. Salary cap pressures and big offers from other clubs will be huge challenges for us to counter. Fingers crossed that we keep all four!

            Apology accepted.
I always try to verify the contract details with an site/news article, players with a link beside their name are confirmed, the others are best guess.

I've got my fingers crossed that the Swans may announce the re-signing of Heeney and Joey during the pre-season period. We don't want this to drag into the new season.
