no one complaining about papley? im alittle bit suprised feel like b.jack > papley should be on the cards otherwise unchanged
I agree that papley didn't have the best game but he has shown plenty in earlier games and his best form to me offers more than BJ. His pressure is very good and he has a lot of upside being so young and inexperienced. As many games as he can get can only benefit him and the team IMHO

I am with you - thought Papley's game was poor.
He butchered the majority of possessions he got (which was the lowest number in the team - 7) and fumbled most of the others. I believe he will struggle to hold his spot in the team.

Out : Papley
In : Laidler or B Jack.
Why do you think Brandon Jack doesn't get a run? He has been in the system for a while, is very fit and regularly gets the most ball in the NEAFL. Is there a question mark over his team attitude? He was made captain of the NEAFL but I understand from a reliable source that he and Rose are pretty selfish
Are we seriously calling to drop every player who has a quiet game? That's about as bad as it gets for inspiring player confidence.
Papley had a quiet game in terms of possession, which unfortunately is an overused and overrated stat these days. His forward pressure is fantastic and he supports Rohan so well in terms of pressure acts up front. Our forward structure looks so much better with Papley and X Richards involved. Let's not forget this is a first year kid coming off the rookie list.
I'm all for B Jack getting a decent crack at the first team but not at Papley's expense at this stage of the year.
There is nothing lumbering about Allir - granted he has an awkward gangly style, but he can move, and most importantly, he can evade well for a big guy.
I don't think he lumbers at all. (From the first half that I've seen only)... he hesitated a second before going for a run (twice).
Once he gets that groove on...
He's a superstar in the making.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun. Blessedare the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I don't think we will see many unforced changes from now on. Tippett looks likely to replace Nankervis in round 22. Zak Jones should be available to play in round 23 and will probably be the first to come if we need an injury replacement. Laidler should also be available by round 22, but I'm not sure if we will have a spot for him. If Reid doesn't play reserves by next week, I doubt that we will see him this year, especially given how well XR has done so far as a forward.
Ted, Benny, Marsh and Rose look to be outside our best 25 come the finals.
BJ doesn't look to be in the mix for this season. He still needs to work on his decision making, but has an AFL level skill set, so I wouldn't give up on him just yet. A year ago I put Aliir in the same category as a poor decision maker, but this season something clicked and his game vision has been great and he's making good decisions, and even more importantly, making them at a speed required at AFL level.
Is anyone going to the pre-match member recognition function?
