I remain unsure whether it would be wise to play Reid so late in the season with no match fitness.

I do salivate at the prospect though of having Buddy And Reid in the forwards supported by the likes of Heeney Rohan and Papley with Tippett and Naismith around the ground. The combination of those 4 talls is mouth watering.

Also, not sure if anyone has mentioned the umpiring last game. Excellent.
In fact I saw it as biased towards the Swans to a small degree.
Most of the questionable decisions I saw were in the Swans' favour.
That 50m penalty against Freo for being inside the protected zone shows how stupid that rule is if they don't apply common sense. A defender with his back to the player who took the mark and running further away = 50m penalty. Similar to the KJ one earlier in the season.

Reid will be an excellent inclusion when ready, but won't be this year. Needs a few weeks in the ressies first and by that stage it'll be deep finals or end of season

The penalty is way too harsh for the crime, a 20 - 25m should be the penalty, not 50m

Aside from the legit reasons I mentioned, I've never seen in Reid what other RWOers see in him.
Best way to describe him is "potential"

Agree - Reid has only ever shown potential/hope.
The only "delivery" of sorts was when he took a telling mark against Freo a few years back, to salvage a draw.
This is short of being considered a valuable member of the team.
(Hope he becomes injury free & delivers soon - i.e. next year.)

Reid showed what he could do in the back half of 2015. I think people have forgotten he played 20+ games last year.

                    Totally agree Plugger.
He was on fire before he got injured.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Of course we'll never know for sure, but I reckon we'd have won that Freo final last year had Reid not gone and got himself injured.

I agree. He was playing brilliantly. The sight of him clutching the back of his leg and then thumping the fence in despair is etched in my memory. So disappointing, most of all for him.
