Actually, now that I think of it, it's a bit surprising that nobody's started a 'changes for rd 21' thread until now. Probably a sign of general contentment.

Interesting that Marsh is named ahead of Laidler as an emergency. Does this mean he is ahead in the pecking order. ?

Not necessarily. Might be about giving Laidler the certainty of getting a game, and thus pushing his case for a senior recall. And with Tippett due to resume next round (at whatever level), one of Marsh or Foote might find themselves demoted back down to the rookie list (though I still reckon we have enough players on the LTIL, and it sounds like they might even add Reid very shortly).

Both Marsh and McGlynn (and Laidler) named in the reserves team playing in the NT. Foote I assume will be in Melbourne.

Out of our last three games this one is the biggest danger game IMO. But I think our website defence should handle their forwards alot better than their backs will handle our FWDs. Hoping Buddy gets off the leash at kicks 6.2 this weekend.

                  Rampe will keep him quiet.

Of course it is, because we already know the result of the previous two.

I think Rampe may play on Reiwoldt, because he has the tank to keep up with him. Aliir is a chance to play on Nick, but can't do it all night. My guess is that with McCartin playing, we might find Mills on Membrey. Smith is a bit shorter, but has played on the likes of Steve Johnson, so I don't think we'd be concerned about that if he's the one.

I thought Laidlaw might have got a run this week given the Saints forward line, plus Reiwoldt

Wasn't he delisted seven or eight years ago?

All sides do it and the Saints are at it....bring in McCartin to exploit our short backline. My memory is that Riewolt doesn't tear us apart.

Riewoldt is more of a winger now a days who covers the whole ground rather than a CHF.

As always, the game will be won in the middle - if we stop the flow from the middle and get a fair share of the ball (like we've done so effectively against Port and Freo over the last two weeks) we should do it fairly comfortably. But if the Saints can break even in there, it might be a different story. A clear danger game for us, but I think we are up to it
