When I saw who the umps were I thought we're in for a hard night. I'm no expert on the rules but I though they did ok. The 50 m frees we got were from lack of discipline by saints players. The 50 to McVeigh was so blatant - Roberton had a brain fade.

if we finish top 2, and hold all the hosting advantages, the only time we want to meet GWS is in the grand final (to negate the AFL's victorian bias)

We got some very favourable decisions. I'm sure all Swans fans will remember that when a few don't go our way

To be eligible to be nominated for the award, a player must be younger than 21 years of age on 1 January of the award year and have played 10 or fewer senior games before the beginning of the season.

AA is too old (just), will be 22 in a few weeks.

Bear in mind that AA was already a year past minimum draft age when he joined the Swans, and then is in his third year on the list.

I would just like to mention four words that mean a lot to many people.... two thousand and five.

But on the other side, because of the stupid bye after Round 23, the winners of the two QF's this year will play one game of footy
                    in four weeks.

                      He certainly deserves the nomination!

I already remember the many times in the past when nothing went our way. Saturday night was a very refreshing change, and we were already owed big time. I loved it....as for games in the future, I just want our team to be treated equally.

You reckon Stevo? I think we should get a Parker fend or Nankervis bump free pass every game from now on. It's awesome to watch.
We replayed both a number of times to better appreciate the nuances and subtleties our guys displayed so effortlessly to evade censure at the time from the umps and possible interruption to our avalanche of goals.

Have to admit we got a couple of favourable free kicks, I was surprised, On the Rare occasions we get these, its when the game is done and dusted.
St Kilda still received two more free kicks than we did. 50M to Buddy was a bit soft. but other two were blatant. I thought it was definitely Nankervis's best game and I am impressed by the way he threw his body about. Was not a fan of him before, but now I am not so sure.

So this was a danger game I thought. Spirited first half from the Saints anyway. Feels like we have flicked the ruthless switch at the right time of year, which is very good to see. Loved the Allir cheers coming through loud and clear on TV, even mentioned in the commentary.

Maybe it's time we started pushing for a roof on the SCG, or maybe even re-relocating back to Melbourne with Etihad as our home ground. We own that place.
