Boomer demanded an answer about 2017 . The club forced to give their answer .
He didn't like it much , to the extent he didn't want to do a Dane Swan or
    a Pav ... Too cranky .
    The end .

Surely this is just the tip of the iceberg for North. Nahas and Farren Ray would have to be next.

I suppose because of his reputation (selfish, sniper etc) there doesn't seem to be a lot of love for Harvey outside of Norf. I guess I think to get to the top of any sport, or any vocation for that matter, you probably weren't too far away when the "selfish" genes were being handed out. And when you push another party for an answer there is no guarantee you're going to like it. Maybe Brad Scott could just be taken at his word, Norf really do want to get more games into good, younger players and he doesn't want them leaving due to lack of opportunities. I've been following the Jimmy Bartel situation and that ending could be messy also.

This is North saying they missed the premiership window and are on the rebuild. I guess not every club can blood youngster's whilst still being Premiership faves

Not sure how it hit the media, but I heard that the player(s) approached the club to find out what was happening, so they could say farewell to their fans at their last game.

            It is ALL very odd!!!!

We don't need him at all.

Let a club like Brisbane or Gold Coast get him.

In saying that, I'd be open to having him if we could pay him peanuts. He'd be a handy depth player that the reserves could learn from.

Only place i could see him going is GWS if stevie j doesnt go around next year and they bomb oit of the finals.

Even then, would he uproot his family to sydney for minimum wage?

I don't like Harvey as a player, but I have to say I admire him for this statement.

He's acting like he got the sack... oh! Wait.

Which is the worst way to end a glittering career... being told through the media you've lost your job for next year, or being booed by bogans.

                    I cry for you Goodesy.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

                      Ironic isn't it.
They cry foul over the treatment of their Champion.
They had no issues booing our Champion out of the game.

No. He's a horrid whining little sniper who is happy to give it but squeals like a stuck pig when he's on the receiving end. And Callum Mills already has more career hardball gets - hence the 430 games.
My opinion is objective truth in its purest form

[/QUOTE] Why would you get rid of your four "best" players, when they are doing a great job and you're only paying half their wage?

Isn't the veterans' allowance being phased out from here on?

North's decision looks more stupid now after Boomer was named their best player in a losing side tonight ... is it too late for the Roos to retract their sacking of Harvey?
