Ahh yes hopefully it pans out the same way for the dogs with us being the roos this time.

But first gotta beat cats. Will be great watching a cats vs swans! First in our lifetime except for kenny who was a dashing young man the last time they played in 1934!

Bont did look fantastic. Many teams unearth a special young player. Dunks looked pretty good too.

He so reminded me of a young Goodsey.

Yes and a lot of the crowd really got into it, swaying along & singing.

I'm guessing AnnieH wasn't one of them

A bit unlucky with the height differential ... but as the commentators rightly pointed out, height isn't a defence

Which is why he had his head taken off in the first qtr last week ...... Was good to see an opposition that went out to play footy not to target players.

I said the same thing to goswannette tonight while we watched, when she commented that while physical, it didn't seem as rough as last week.

Credit to Adelaide who didn't go for head hunting...It was a tough contest and played pretty fairly...Good game by the Swans....we'll have to be good next week to beat the cats

We played the ball and not the man, big difference. I hope we play GWS in the big one and just smash them, the more i think about GWS will @@@@ themselves on the big stage.

Hasn't got Buddy off in the past. Tall players really shouldn't risk using shoulder bump.

202cm vs 172cm ... unless Jacobs is kneeling and Benny's jumping, a bump from Jacobs is never going to look good

I think that may have been the best first quarter that we played all year? A few times we've racked up bigger scores, but against weaker opposition, like Richmond and Collingwood. But tonight we really steamrolled a quality side.
Some players were outstanding all night. Kennedy was a beast, just overshadowing Parker and Heeney. Smith did a great job on Betts. I loved it when Adelaide hoicked it in long, because I could just have a look where Aliir and Grundy were, and feel confident that the attack was going to be repelled.
Ah, there really is a long list, isn't there?
The running to get to contests by Jack, Hannebery and Lloyd was outstanding. Our young ruckmen won the hit outs. While up forward Papley and McGlynn did same great crumbing.
I could certainly keep going, but that's enough for now.
