    Changes for the Grand Final.

Ins. McVeigh, Mills if they're both fit.
    Outs. Marsh, Laidler.

You're assuming aliir is ok ?

    Changes for me.
Out: Marsh, Aliir (if not fit)
    In: McVeigh, Ted for aliir

I'm really struggling with replacing aliir with a tall defender. Ted may be the only option. Depends on where wins today to be honest. If the Giants win then probably Ted. If Bulldogs win then Cunningham.

Mills needs to come in if he's 100% fit and if so it will be for Laidler. But I suspect he's not worth risking even for a grand final as we need him do many years to come.

Thank heavens I don't have to make these decisions for a living !

Very early to speculate until we know what's going on , but :

1)If Aliir is out , Rohan does his job

2)Ted not to come in : love him,but he is surely too underdone

3)Jones to keep his place.Looks like a thug , but plays like an angel.

4)A fit Mills would be great , but if not , Laidler will not let us down.
Do you risk a repeat of the injury in a GF ?
Glad the decision on The Iceman will be based on the advice of doctors , not people like me talking bollocks.

Effectively , I'm advocating one definite change : Macca in for Marsh.
I'd be really tempted to pick Macca , even if he is not 100 per cent fit.
How far off is he ? I noticed that , even when the game was won , he did not look over-excited.
The calm look of a man who has done it all before? Or the concerned countenance of a man who knows he's racing the clock?

        Don't change a winning team!!!

Marsh's job the last few weeks has been to shut a player down, not gain stats.

Under no circumstances do we include Teddy, hasn't played in weeks and look really bad in the Ressie GF.

If AA can't get up, bring in Towers; has height and speed, or Mills; the only player we roll the dice on.

McVeigh has an old man injury, the calf, and no speed.

It tough, but he has to miss this year GF; we can;t take the risk.

IMO, they won't change the team unless some players are not 100% fit. You can't be sentimental about this. It's a GF not a H&A game. They'll wait to see who is going to win today's PF (most likely GWS, Bulldogs had their song and dance last week) and make decisions accordingly.

I don't think the formula should be changed at all (outside of injuries, of course). Everyone pulled more than their weight last night and earnt a spot in the GF. Jones in particular should get a gig next week based off his performance last night, such intensity. I'd be sad to see him dropped. Marsh was also solid.

Wow Mcveigh and Ted against the quickest ball movement teams in the league. No emotions, no due. Our system works. Just Mills and nobody else.

                  Mills (if fit) for Marsh
                  McVeigh (if fit) for Hewett/Richards/McGlynn
                  Marsh for Aliir(if unfit)

I don't want to replace Laidler a defender with McVeigh. Last night when Aliir got injured it was good to have the option of Laidler back there. I think it is better to have McVeigh further up the ground.
If Aliir is out, I think you need someone with match fitness so Marsh. Or Cunningham if Mills is also out.

                    In Mills, McVeigh

                    Out Aliir, Hewitt

Hard to comment on who misses a GF
Hard to omit Hewitt though, after locking down that role all year. Also dangerous to change for the last game.
Laidler was good, and is solid.

I'd say that if everyone is fit, then it would be McVeigh and Mills in for Marsh and Laidler
If Mills doesn't get up, then McVeigh for Marsh.

I agree it's not ideal. Against the Giants I think we need the Extra tall defender. Against the Bulldogs we need the running defender. Bulldogs aren't that fast running but they move the ball so quickly

Laidler stays. You know he will give nothing more than his best for the whole game. Hopefully Shandy gets up and no changes required.
Hewett had an ordinary PF but doesn't deserve to be dumped on one bad game. He will learn from it.
If Shandy is out, Ted is not the worst option. There has gotta be a lot of muscle memory there from numerous finals. He doesn't butcher his kicks and can marshall the defence. Having said that Reg is now our "Supreme Leader" down back apologies to Snoke (Star Wars fans will get this).????

Hewitt was not that bad. Look at his tackle count.
