Oh man that was hilarious i need to find and watch this now.
My main problem with the whole thing is if the AFL want big crowds then GWS v Dogs should have also been played at ANZ and all giants finals should be played at ANZ if they go by this BS crowd argument. Just seem to make stuff up as they go.
I just saw that Tony Olango has signed with the Hawthorn Darwin Academy. The Victorian clubs are getting more access to a wide variety of players while things seems be getting more difficult and costly for us.
We had the opportunity to draft Olango as rookie instead of Toby Pink. With Cameron and Naismith, we have 2 good young ruckmen. Although I think Olango is a good long term prospect, perhaps we did the right thing. But I would hate to see him become a big success ------ at Hawthorn, although I wish him all the best nonetheless.
Mike Fitzpatrick steps down as chairman of AFL. Maybe we will now get a fair go.
I like the fact that his successor is a non-Victorian. Goyler might steer the commission towards taking a more holistic view of the competition, rather than presenting it as the old VFL that reluctantly allowed a few interlopers to join in.
I was surprised, reading the article on Fitzpatrick's retirement, that he has only been chairman of the commission for a decade. It feels like three times that.
I don't like to judge people until I meet them and get to know them.
Mike always came across as a real @@@@@ though, and I'll suggest that it is a fair reflection of him.
Let's see how we progress now.
Will be interesting to see the extent of the influence Mike had over Gill
The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.

Hitler was F?hrer for 11 years.
Trump has been President for less than 4 weeks.
While I am pleased to see the last of the old firm of Fitzpatrick, Demetrius et al, I am loathe to point out that Fitzpatrick is actually from WA not Victoria.
The fact that many of his decisions seemed to favour the Melbourne based teams is more a reflection of his anger, vengeance and some strange sense of betrayal that Sydney took the initiative away from the administration and used the rules to our advantage without regard for the plans of the hierarchy.
Once there was a wicked witch in the lovely land of Oz
And a wickeder, wickeder, wickeder witch there never, never was
He filled the folks in Munchkin land with terror and with dread
'Till one fine day from Kansas way a cyclone caught a house
That brought the wicked, wicked witch his doom
As he was flying on his broom
For the house fell on his head and the coroner pronounced him dead
And thru the town the joyous news was spread
Ding-dong, the witch is dead! Which old witch? The wicked witch
Ding-dong, the wicked witch is dead...............
P.S. For the purposes of this song witch = warlock.
I like to think that when bad things happen, they are usually the result of a stuff up, rather than a conspiracy. The management of McLachlan and Fitzpatrick, was making me increasingly question that assumption.
