Honestly, I have seen so much poor umpiring against us in the last few years, that I just sigh and expect to lose in any match against a Victorian team in Melbourne. ETA except Geelong...they don't seem to be as favoured by the umps

And as for the mark...I checked the rule, you must have 'control' of the ball before it crosses the line..
