I am far more comfortable watching AA running out of defence even at this stage of his career than I was with Leo at any stage of his career. The only thing that saved Leo from being run down was that opposition players got so damn dizzy watching him pinball around the backline that they couldn't focus properly. But dang could Leo mark!

Absolutely - but don't expect anything to come from it, bar whining fairypuppies fans trotting out the 'we are harder at the contest and that's that' line that they always do... That reasoning can explain some of the variation, but not all of it for mine.

As others have said, 170 legal tackles for not one single free kick fro HTB and incorrect disposals. No matter how good a team is, such a stat is utterly absurd. Its up there with us playing more than half a game of footy in the Grand Final and not getting a single free kick awarded to us. Statistically possible, but highly unlikely."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

I am shocked, a Victorian newspaper calling a Victorian team the Umpire's Pet! But pleasantly surprised. Maybe these guys will be under greater scrutiny now.Comment

I have heard the doggie fans saying that they get more free kicks because they are harder at the ball and the first at a contest. The problem with that is that from my re-viewing it looks like the majority of the frees where for htb or incorrect disposal which relies on the other team having the ball first.Comment
