    Yup, Reid cost us the game. All his fault. He was quiet in the first quarter too. Drop him. Trade him. Just delist him.

      Oh and I hate to say it but we're missing Tom Mitchell in the clinches more than we would've hoped

        Hayward plays like a true forward. Knows where and when to go. Great pick.
        Florent tick.
        Fox tick/=
        Dawson =
        Newman =
        Sinclair X
        Foote X

        Dont have every defender flying XXXXX
        Dont spoil your own forwards XXXXX

        Cant carry two rucks when neither can catch in the front 50 or really around the ground. Much easier in back 50.

        I just thought about it.

        Cunningham = 2 more years????????
        Towers = 1 more year????????????????

        and the kids are better then them.

        Longmire, Beatson, list manager.!!!

          Look at the positives - we have drafted two players in Florent & Hayward who look to be top shelf to add to an already impressive roster of young players, these are 250+ gamers of high quality, they truly look like special players. Newman looks like he will be best 22, has footy smarts and is cool headed. That's three players straight into our best 22.

          So if we can get the injured back on the park, Florent, Hayward and Newman will be in the side in place of muggles like Cunningham, Towers etc. This is exciting despite the losses. So temper your frustration and enjoy the new players.
          Finally a rational post

            So disappointing that result - all created though by one of the most abysmal quarters I've ever seen that we turfed up in the 1st quarter.
            To even mention Florent as an excuse option is poor form he hasn't even played five games
            We were crap and our senior players didn't even make the level of nonperformance

              Agree to a point. We have a few great generals, but all are not playing their best footy the leadership naturally suffers.

                I am completely gutted by tonight. We let a side who has no right to be in the top 12 sides of the competition make us look ordinary on our home ground. Smith, stinkclaire woeful. Stinkers is nothing but a leech on our salary cap if that spanker is on more that match paymennts its disgraceful ( pitty there isnt a mid season draft, i would take josh bootsma for him atm and also sweeten the deal with our 1st rd pick. Likelt to be 3 atm), how cameron wasnt picked over him tonight defies belief. 2017 will be know as the year the swans talked the talk but that is all, and as we are seeing talk is very cheap. I hope there hurting, they should be.

                  I really don't see it in Foote - I want to see him succeed, but for every good thing he does, he does something utterly retarded to go with it.

                  Sinclair's effort is always there, but his hands let him down time and time and time and time again.

                  Dawson wasn't helped by the nature of the game. We played large parts of it without structure up forward, especially early. He spent a lot of time deep in defence early - something he is not accustomed to doing.

                    I wasn't bagging Dawson he just didn't seem quite up to pace which is normal, most debutants don't play in such an inexperienced team

                      Mate I wasn't blaming him, just a comment made in disappointment - it really summed up our night in terms of bad decision making. Justa little composure (something he has shown a lot of so far in his short career), and we might of been talking about a different result. I like him a lot and think he will be a star in time - and most certainly was not blaming him at all for our loss. There were plenty of other @@@@ ups by far more experienced guys, but that was a bad moment when we didn't need it. The young fella will learn from it - he will be a star in a year or two.

                        Happy to cut Foote and Dawson a fair bit of slack.

                        Sinclair did not play well in the ruck and had no impact up forward. Cameron an automatic in if Tippett is not fit.

                          At least it's the first game this year that we didn't add to our injury list. That's progress.
