      Sorry for off topic comment.
Port Melbourne Ron Barassi once quoted that they are the most traditional club in Australian rules football.
I couldn't play for the Swannies but I did for Port and as a Borough fan that is as good as it gets.

According to the Twitters, neither Naismith or Tippett travelled to Perth or trained this morning.

Adam Papalia? @adampaps: "Naismith and Tippett held back in Sydney for more training and rehab. @sydneyswans say the pair are still a chance to make the trip to Perth"

Huh? So Tippett not seen at Perth airport after all? (He's hard to miss.) And Naismith??? (Just what we need if Naismith is injured - the rehab room must be getting very crowded.)

Lucky West Coast's ruckmen are all injured as well!

                Give Darcy a run.

Tippett, Rohan. Papley, Heeney back against GWS with McVeigh and Rampe not too far after....

Cannot see how Foote can get another run but I struggle to see who else we can bring in

Given his versatility of being in 2 places at one time, Tippo is definitely worth every cent of his contract. If he keeps this up, he could be the centerpiece of a new religion.

Being in two places at once is useless if he doesn't play in either Perth or Sydney!

This is interesting in regard to umpiring emphases from week-to-week. Note what they are concentrating on this week.

'ONLY half a dozen clubs choose to access information umpires make available to them each week that shows what they are focusing on at training'

'AFL.com.au understands this week's coaches' notes for umpires include re-emphasising holding the ball interpretations, a look at the deliberate out of bounds rule and a focus on support free kicks, which are free kicks awarded by the non-controlling umpire.'

Most clubs not accessing umpire training intel - AFL.com.au

I read that article with a smirk on my face. Rather than refute the notion that there is a "rule of the week", the umpiring fraternity instead decided to make it official (and to tell clubs what that rule is).

                          False news.

What on earth can we expect with team selection tonight? Maybe we're going to use that new tactic of no one competing in the ruck and having the extra man at ground level?

Rohan, Edwards, who knows what to expect?

Like your thinking, leaping player, mobile, can't think of any other positive .......

Hope Dawson gets another game, suited to Subiaco.
