Hoping to be pleasantly surprised tonight. While we do have an under strength side, we do have a good recent record against the flying high mob. Also looking forward to seeing how Papley goes. I would assume that he has been training really well, or he wouldn't have been rushed back into the side. And it will be interesting to see how he and Hayward go, crumbing Buddy and Reid.
Actually, that's one thing that I've never really thought about, in all my years watching Aussie Rules: do small forwards get assigned to work together with a particular larger forward? As an example, would it be the job of Papley, to spend most of the night working with Buddy, and alternatively, would it be the main task of Hayward, to stick close to Reid? Or would be the general game plan for the smalls to lead into space and then try to get back to the talls if the ball spills, or if they need a quick handball option?
