All we're doing is chasing at the moment.

No forward line again. Hanners had no one to kick to then. Amazingly we kicked a goal.

    Tackling is way off too.

Bizarre! Just quickly checked the stats on afl.com.au. Sinclair has the third most Fantasy points after Lloyd and JPK! I don't get it.

BJ far from our worst. Definitely been better than Rose. And Rohan hardly has a stat.

This is why we can't just keep dropping players. The incumbents aren't doing well but the replacements are no better.

Like the look of Rose. He seems to always want to be involved.
How creak would we be without Heeney playing?

This is really hard to watch. Bloods culture officially in hibernation.

Why the hell is Tippett out again? He is so vulnerable to injury and rarely fit. I think decisions will have to be made soon.

Yes, Heeney has been a real positive this game. But I can't get over how poor the effort seems to be...it's like they are afraid to put their head down and get the ball...and kicks looked just rushed. I have seen this in hockey time and again...and I hate to say it, but it's when the coaching staff gets tuned out and the players are not mentally 100% in the game.

What a horrible half from us considering we are leading. All I can say is thank goodness we are playing Carlton! I was hoping that this game may help us get some much needed form and confidence back with a march back towards playing finals. With every passing minute in that first half my expectations and hopes were shattered back to reality that we may actually just be a very ordinary side...

I hope we can at least hold on so we aren't the complete laughing stock of the league...

I like Heeney taking responsibility as almost a quarterback behind the contested ball in midfield. He makes good decisions almost all of the time and uses the ball well.

It really is a battle for the mediocrity cup. We are probably going to win but by gee we look so poor

Rohan and Hayward just 1 possession each. At least Hayward used it to kick a goal. What is Gary doing?

We are playing poorly as a side, but here have been some good individual performances, especially from Heeney, Melican, Lloyd and Laidler.

When we play well, Hanners is in everything, but his drop off this year has been startling.

Go Saints!! At least Collingwood and Hawks sharing the bottom rungs of the ladder makes this debacle easier to stomach.

Sadly no. He just can't get near it. Looks hang dog.
