I agree. These are my tips too. Here is my tip for the first two weeks going on a combination of form, traditional dominance & home ground advantage...
Week 1
Adelaide d GWS (AO)
Port d WCE (AO)
Swans d Essendon (SCG)
Geelong d Richmond (MCG)
Week 2
GWS d Port (Spotless)
Swans d Richmond (MCG)
so prelims will be
Adelaide v Swans (AO)
Geelong v GWS (MCG)
But I think one of us will be wrong.

Yes, that progression is more or less the basis for my tip of a Swans v Geelong GF. Except that I have the Weagles beating Port, because I think that Port are total pretenders, while Wet Toast are just mediocre.Comment

Yes, if GWS turn up three games in a row, they'll win the whole shebang. It's just a very big if.
It's hard to see them not making a prelim though, because even if they lose to Adelaide, I'd give Port or
WC no chance of beating them at Spotless.
I think winning a qualifying final is not the slam dunk it used to be. Maybe playing one game in
almost four weeks messes with teams heads. Both teams that won their QF last year, lost in the prelim.
Has that ever happened before last year?Comment

Sydney Swans website today reported: "Only ruckman Darcy Cameron (shoulder) and utility Robbie Fox (ankle) remain sidelined with injury out of the Sydney Swans? entire 46-strong playing list": Injured Swans train strongly - sydneyswans.com.au.All opinions are not equal.
