You just get the feeling that playing for the Swans, like his grandfathers did, means so much to him.
I love watching Papley play. He has taken the opportunity we gave him with two hands and is grabbing on damn hard. He still has so much development to come, but he is already becoming a critical cog in the Swans machine. He really does seem to love playing for the club, and has 200+ gamer written all over him with the way he is developing. He is a real livewire and is adding a lot to the midfield rotation as well - that part of his game has hugely surprised me, but he has been great in there in recent weeks.

A smother that might push Brendan Goddard into early retirement.

I admit that when he was recovering from injury at the start of the year, and despite his excellent first year and his terrific attitude, I thought that we'd miss him but we'd cope. What he's done since coming back, and especially since regaining match fitness, shows I was utterly wrong. He's not only a player who is easy to love for his determination and willingness to stick it up the opposition, he's a mighty fine player and seems only to be getting better. As mcs said, he seems to love playing for the club, and there's no doubt the club and supporters love him playing for us.

                        Go Bloods!

Agree Odysseus. Does turn it over a it by foot at times though. Seems to get a bit over excited. Sure he can iron it out of his play.

All is forgiven now - couple of dreadful turnovers during the game had me less complimentary. Good kid but.

That smother won us the game.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

A lot of 1%ers won the game. (or 10% how the bombers dropped off) Never say die attitude is what impressed me the most.
