Onya Baz. And what a cunning title!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

On a related note, we were treated to another ex-Swan emceeing the event. I wonder what Troy Gray has been up to for the last 20 or so years.

Vox was traded to the Saints, and then went to West Adelaide in the SANFL. A few years with Westies (spent a lot of time in the trainers room injured with back related hamstring issues - just couldn't get his body right despite the effort of the physio!) and then played Ametures footy in SA (with Goodwood I think?).
After retiring from footy opened a men's salon business, then was a radio announcer with Austereo, worked with Gary Sweet at MMM giving money away on a promotional bus (I still have a MMM cheque signed by Sweet for 5c!), had his own TV show (producer & presenter) & was a news presenter on Channel 9. And now is a public speaker and MC for hire.

Or he might have played with Seaton, not Goodwood. Can't remember

              Barry... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

And he's saying he should not have been allowed to play in the 2005 GF. Tainted Premiership - like 2006's white line cup?

And the Dogs were his happiest playing days (and the image behind his speech).

Thanks, and to all who have sent through messages of congratulations.

However, I must inform you that, unfortunately, my application to enter the Hall of Fame was rejected, and in an amazing coincidence of name it is in fact the little known ex-swans player Barry Hall who (god knows how) was included as a Hall of Famer.

Rest assured, I am lodging an appeal and will keep you informed of my progress.

                  kind regards,
                  the real barry.
