Surely Tippett won't be in this week after no NEAFL last week.

Jones is a certain in and McVeigh being talked up by the coach. Only certain out is Towers, maybe we can play 23?

Towers got back into the team after Rose and B Jack bombed at senior level against Carlton. He's definitely not first selected.

swansrob, barry is baiting you. You just took his bait. Take more care next time. What's that internet saying? "Don't feed the trolls". It just encourages them.

            Tipoff in injured.
            He's got a sore foot.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

We need a tagger, and Towers is it. Once cunningham comes back there is a spot for only one of them.
But neither of them are in and under.

I would pick Jones in for Florent.

I think it will be a physical high pressure game. Melbourne's midfield is good at breaking forward from turnovers or stoppages. We will need a midfielder who can can chase back defensively. So for this game I would prefer Jones coming in rather than McVeigh.

I would pick Jones for Hayward. Hayward needs to learn when your team has the momentum, 24 points up, you don't over celebrate a goal and pick fights or the opposition might fire up and kick 7 goals in a row.
Plus I reckon Florent deserves to stay and Hayward could benefit from a break.

Oh and please don't pick Macca.

Towers lives under packs. He loves nothing more than a mouthful of SCG mud.

Some say, he lives in a cave overlooking Bronte beach.

                        Florent. Damn autocorrect.
And I thought you had just created a cute nickname for Florent.

A Florentine (biscuit) is a sweet pastry of nuts and fruit. Florentines are made of nuts and candied cherries mixed with sugar melted together with butter and honey, cooked in an oven. They are often coated on the bottom with chocolate.

Great post....I agree with your point on Hayward.....the kid's going to be an absolute gun but his behaviour that subsequently kicked Essendon into gear, didn't quite fit into the 'no dickheads' ethos of our club, so a rest for him and they can call it 'management'......and yes, don't pick Macca!

And a true 'Florentine steak' uses Chianina beef, and is always served rare. The steaks are enormous and designed to be shared...A Tuscan delight!
