Yes you're right, I couldn't remember the terminology when I was posting. The photo is of the Paddington end.

I should know as I go to a lot of cricket at the SCG. Will be sitting right where I've taken this photo for first 3 days of Ashes Pink test.

Kick to kick?! You could barely play pass the parcel in that congestion! Surely that's the sort of close packed situation that Tom Mitchell used to practice his inside disposal?

Here's the Randwick end - not a good photo with the sun on phone.

Melican only had 10 touches but thought he was very good they must have all been off the burst and a 10m run

            Yeah
I remember the last kick to kick

            It was Pitt street

a mate sent in a cracking 50m kick to our kids in the goal square and this random guy (who had a few drinks) went up for a mark from another ball his mate sent in and our AFL ball (fully pumped / bright yellow) smashed him right on the kisser

He went down like a hession sack of potatoes ????

Never saw it coming.......completely simpered full force

We all got him up , bleeding mouth and very dazed and he took a breather while all his mates were on the ground laughing at him

            Eeeeeewwww

Ps melican is owning it !!

Was I watching a different game?
I'm not a basher but I thought Tippo was pretty ordinary again. I could see that he was trying hard but Sinclair seems well in front at this point of the season

I'd happily trade some friday night games for some more early afternoon games

Looks like they've got that backline very well packed.

How many 50-metre penalties does this equate to for more than 18 players on the ground?

I love Saturday Arvo footy like today - a glorious day at the SCG indeed. A huge crowd too, well done to everyone for getting out to watch what was a dominant Swannies performance Hopefully we can get a couple more family friendly timeslots again next year.

Not much to say on the parade that was the game - it was one way traffic against glorified witches hats at times. But there was some beautiful football in there too - some really good interplay and clever use of the ball.
We were very decent today - but Freo really were woeful. Sterner tests of course await, but what a resurrection its been from the first 6 weeks of the year. This team is as good a chance as any to take the flag, and what an almighty Premiership it would be. But that is still a long way off.

Only negative; woeful disposal by Hanners continues.

Easy win by the lads. Sinkers should not be dropped.

Easy win against opposition that really was never into the game. The Swans have a lot of "Finals Stress" games this season though so it may be a good thing to be able to not have the mental drain of a nailbiter. It will help the percentage too! If the Swans didn't take their foot off the gas, I think it easily could have been a 150 point plus victory!

Perked me up after seeing the Canada men lose to New Zealand last night (my time) in the IC.
