I thought Tippo was pretty good this week. One thing I noticed during the 3rd quarter. He was playing FF up the other end when Freo got a shot at goal not far out and not much of an angle. Anyway's, Reg & Ramps (I think) and another, maybe Macca were already in the goal square, but KT ran the length of the field to stand on the line and watch the ball sail through way over his head. Then he ran back to FF. Good effort I thought. He didn't have to do it, but he did.

Got to shake the Horses hoof on the way out too. He looked a little startled by a drunk fat bastard yelling HORSE! HORSE! but he gave me a grin and a "Good on ya mate". Tops ending to a tops day!

Couldn't help notice that Hardwick's Complaint against lopsided umpiring free kicks in the Geelong Richmond game involved our old GF friend Mr Stevic. Makes you wonder if he is an umpire for hire!! 28 to 17 free kicks against whilst playing a Victorian side is a good day for a Swans supporter.

If we beat Adelaide on Friday night, I think we will lead the discussion for the next fortnight. A top four finish would have is favourites too, I reckon.

That phrase used to have a different meaning back in the day!

                Coaches votes:

                SYDNEY v FREMANTLE
                10 Luke Parker (Syd)
                7 Lance Franklin (Syd)
                7 Dan Hannebery (Syd)
                4 Dane Rampe (Syd)
                2 Isaac Heeney (Syd)

Only disagreement was about how to distribute the 3 and 4 to Franklin and Hannebery.

Really surprised no Dockers received votes...

Parker has really been in beast mode of late, hasn't he?

Clearly coaches don't worry much about clanger kicks.

It would be so hard to single out just one.... or even three or five.

Maybe the AFL should allow coaches to vent, with the introduction of minus votes? Though that may not do too much for team harmony?

Just did a match day survey send by email from the Swans. Rated it all generally excellent except buses to the Quay after the game, Sweet Caroline and the volume of the entertainment. Final comment with open question, response: "Turn the volume down for break announcements and entertainment. I am there for the game and enjoy discussing it during breaks, not shouting over other crap "entertainment" blaring through the speakers."

Good on you Swanstubbs - nothing irks me more than the impossibility of conversation, especially between quarters. I hope the powers that be take note.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

What's wrong with the buses to Circular Quay? The line is much shorter than the Central buses
