Hanners and Paps to return, he's first man out despite his goals. I love him but he's just not ready for finals footy yet
Harry/Towers/Newman the other out
Harry out for mine even though he was playing well prior to injuryComment

The operative phrase is good ruckman. We don't have one. I'm looking at all the errors these guys are making around the ground. Lumbering around, not picking up opponents, balls going through legs, giving away free kicks, not kicking goals. I don't care about the Max Gawn matchup.Towers dominating is a bit of a stretch. He got a couple of possessions and nearly kicked a great goal...but he missed. I think it's underestimated the impact a good ruckman can have in the marking contests around the ground. Even if they don't mark themselves it's a plus if they halve the contest and bring the ball to ground. Towers struggles in that area understandably due to a major height difference. Imagine him competing against Gawn in a final??? No thanks!Comment

Last 11 scores by the Swans have all been goals. Nice.

That was a nice finish to the regular season, and well done to Buddy for beating Carlton by himself
Gee Parker has found some superb form - playing really well. Need him to continue that deep into the finals.
It was a slow burn in the first half, but by gee the second half made up for it. Good work Swans, and an amazing achievement just to get to the finals from 0-6."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Wow, what a second half! Another big crowd as well, 39000.
Add Hanners and Papley, maybe Naismith? Hayward is gone, good season from an 18yo but now gone. One of Towers or Cunningham also makes way. Are we going to continue with the two ruckman? Lot's of questions ahead of our first final.Comment
